Studio 281 has had humble beginnings, framing for countless artists, homes, galleries, museums and the many other facets of life, originally started by Leo Flavel, a graffitti artist from Maylands with deep roots in classic and the new developing arts. We have now expanded to Fremantle with our brand new exhibition space 'Whitepsace'

Margaret River based artist Aidan Lee Smith brings his 5th Solo Art Exhibition to Fremantle. 'Obscurity' will feature around 40 new works exploring different experimental ways of obscuring the figure. Expect both huge and tiny paintings, contrasts of traditional realism and abstract mark making, intricate patterns and florals, mixed media and much more. Wines by the amazing Juniper, Margaret River, and Beer by the rad crew at Beerfarm . Live music, canapes, time-lapse video projections, and an interactive art experience that everyone can get their hands dirty with. Be there or be square.
