Venue Hire Basics
Provision of Photo ID, with address required to confirm booking (Passport or Drivers license).
Leave the venue how you found it. $1000 Security Deposit (each space) required additional to hire fees, to cover repairs/extra cleaning should you leave the venue untidy, damage property or breach house rules.
Artworks must not be handled at all. For artists, hanging must be completed by the gallery facilitator only.
$500 Booking Fee is required to secure your preferred dates. Our venues are listed on multiple instant booking websites. Paying a deposit does not guarantee your booking unless confirmation has been sent by our booking manager.
The Balance is required IN FULL, 14 days prior to event date (Allow 2-3 business for funds to clear if paying by EFT).
Commercial Hire
In addition to the “Private Hire” conditions, the following information supports commercial hirers:
Discounts apply for weekday hire, events without alcohol, commercial hirers and retail pop ups.
Hire periods are available for a single day/evening up to 4 weeks. We may also have capacity to host an event series such as short courses, or repeat events for longer durations. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your event details.
Private Hire
For events serving alcohol with over 40 guests, 1 RSA staff must be employed. 60 guests, 2 RSA staff. Please note these staff will also assist you in cleaning the venue before exiting. Security personnel may also be required.
All forms of entertainment are accepted (strippers) and the venue has window coverings (privacy).
Our venue manager has authority to eject or refuse entry of anyone and if required, shut down the entire event at their discretion, without compensation.
Street drinking is prohibited and illegal. Any guests consuming alcohol outside the premises may force the immediate closure of the event. In any case of a breach of the venue hire conditions, a refund is not available.
Smoking is permitted on the street and outdoor areas only.
The use of glitter, confetti and pussy willows (in flower arrangements) is forbidden due to the inability to completely remove these items from the venues.
Open flames including candles are strictly prohibited. Excluding birthday cake candles.
All food and drink waste to be removed from the building prior to midnight of your hire (commercial skip bins are included in hire fees).
Curfew is 11pm Sunday-Thursday and 12am on Fridays and Saturdays. All occupants strictly must vacate prior, and cleaning must be completed by this time. Should you wish to collect personal belongings the following day, this can be arranged prior to your event starting and we can include next day pick up, $50 facilitator’s fee (1 hour).
Noise restrictions take place from 11pm. Noise must not impact surrounding occupants in building at the time of hire.
