Peter Usher

Peter is a contemporary landscape artist from Denmark, Western Australia.

Inspired by the magnificent coastline and splendid forest of the Great Southern region of WA, Peter’s art combines highly refined technique and observation painting that reflects his unique interpretations of the Western Australian land and seascape. His use of detailed brushwork, subtle colour transitions and textural complexity, are all underpinned by a strong conceptual foundation.

To date, he has held 12 solo exhibitions within 11 years and maintains a strong and diverse art practice from his forest studio in Denmark WA.
